I have seen the hand written letter that was written by William F McIntosh, grandson of Jesse McIntosh.. It was written in 1900 in his own handwriting. And it states that Frank McIntosh was the father to Jesse McIntosh. There are 2 Jesse McIntoshs. One was the son to Frank McIntosh and the other Jesse was the son Nimrod McIntosh. We don't know if Jesse had any siblings or not.. And we don't know Jesse's mother's name either.. The first thing we have is Jesse's War of 1812 papers. We know that Jesse was in Estill Co about 1812. In the 1810 census we don't know where he was since he was to young to be head of household.. He went in the War of 1812 under a assumed name. As to why we don't know.. George Kassa died afew yrs ago.. Don't know if Weldon is still alive or not.
