Our Gr Gr Grandfather, Franklin McIntosh was born in Michigan 1845 or 1846 and said his parents were born in Scotland. I have found record of him, his wife and children, who all lived in St Joseph/Benton Harbor area of Michigan, two grandsons in the 20's lived in Mason Co Ludington area. To date, I have not for the life of me, been able to discover who Grandpa Frank's parents are or where in Michigan they lived. So I read your post hoping upon hope to find a link but found none. However, I will save your info in case I am able to connect later to yours....if you stumble over a Frank or Franklin McIntosh anywhere in Michigan, please let me know. His wife was Lucy Collins. Frank died somewhere between 1900 and 1907 probably in St Joseph, Michigan area. Also you refer to "The Michigan Daughters" is this a book? Thanks, Chris in Ohio
