The family ended up in Hempstead County, Howard County and some migrated to Texas. I have Tollette relatives who are descendents of the slaves. The all black town of Tollette, Arkansas was named after Steve Tollette who was one of the slaves. They use a different spelling of the last name. On the 1870 census it seems the blacks and whites spelled their last name Tollet (or, that is how the census person spelled it). Your name is familiar. I may have contacted you before.
