The first one is George Washignton McIntosh born in 1814 in Estill County, Kentucky. This GWM is my most remote McIntosh Ancestor. He married Elizabeth Christy in 1833 in Indiana. George and Elizabeth had eight children, all born in Bartholomew County, Indiana, before they moved to Clinton, Wayne, Iowa in 1956. George died on 10 Nov 1901 in Kansas City, Wyandotte, Kansas. My second George Washington McIntosh was born on 25 Nov 1853 in The Forks, Estill, KY. George died on 5 Nov 1932 in Estill, KY. He married (1)Cynthia Lou Woosley on 25 Jan 1874 in Estill County. Cynthia was born on 12 May 1854 in Estill County. George and Cynthia had seven children, the oldest was named Laura Bell. She married a George T. Cooper on 14 Mar 1895. (2) Loucinda Stevens on 10 Oct 1894 in Estill County. Loucinda was born in 1850 in Estill County and died 20 Jun 1926 in Estill County. George & Loucinda did not have any children.

Just of let everyone know, I have posted to the Nairnshire list a list of photos of MI's that I took during my visit to Nairn area of Scotland this past May (wiccanpt2@netzero.net - my other email address). Our focus was the surnames of CALDER / LAMB / MACKINTOSH / MCPHERSON. The majority of them are Mc / Mackintosh. We did not cover every section of the cemeteries that we visited. Filenames ending in SB were taken by my sister using a conventional camera and transferred to a photo CD. When that was done, I lost the sequence so I can not be absolutely sure which cemetery they were taken in. For the most part, these appear in the Nairn Riverside Parts 1-4. This has been a brick wall for me and others I know. I am descended from (Colonel) David who married Mary (Polly) Dawson in Greene Co, Georgia in 1785, & died in Madison, Morgan Co circa 1827. Our family has always believed that our Macintoshes were descended from Oglethorpe's Macintoshes, but the descendants of Lachlan Mor Macintosh are pretty well documented and no one I know has found a plausible link to them. That David had the title of Colonel might indicate a connection to Lachlan Mor's line (most of them appear to have been military men of senior rank), I suspect there is no relationship. Do you know where Jesse was before Greene Co, i.e. did he migrate to the area from the coast, or he did come down from South Carolina or farther north? I heard from one distant cousin who heard from another distant cousin that the family migrated from Virginia to Georgia. If this is so, it would be a good indication that the family was Scotch-Irish and not Scots, and that maybe we should be looking toward Pennsylvania and not Savannah or Darien for their entry point into North America. Her father is Edwin George Stanley McIntosh b1917 South Australia, North Adealiade, d 2 7 1983 at Oaklands PK, Adelaide. He married to Lorriane Herraman b 11 7 1918 Enfield,SA D 3 12 2000. Edwin parents died before 1942.We dont know who his parents are. It is believed he is related to Achibald J McIntosh B ? d 1918 Broken Hill NSW ,married to Edith Bryar 1898 Broken Hill.Archibald parents names are Duncan and Hellen. and would like to confirm this.
