Will get all my info in order next year after I retire. I know Kay rang Michael and he promised some family photos for me to include in the history but has not sent them yet. I will send some details I have to your email address. Much of the later information is as told to me by James McIntosh (Costello)'s wife Greta, so if you see any mistakes please let me know. I have a lot of info on the Costellos and would be happy to share my final copy with Michael if he could let me have a copy of a photo of mary Josephine or Donald Frederick or even of his parents, aunts, uncles etc. Are you a cousin to Kay too? She is my neighbour. Regards, Marie

He gave me DOB 24/5/1885 Belgaum India. Death 16/2/1956 Buried Rookwood Sydney. WW1 serial number 2644 although I could not find him on the nominal roll but I did find his embarkation papers that listed his next of kin Elizabeth Gertrude McIntosh, WIFE. I looked on the NSW births deaths and MArriages and found a marriage reg no 14151 of 1910 he married at Woolhara Elizabeth G Henry. Maybe this certificate would help with further information about him. I also found two other marriages one in 1938 at Leeton NSW and another strange one at Burwood 1931 but the spouse's name is desputed. Let me know how you go Robyn (Griffith NSW)

Her parent seems to be of the Chief William or Chili McIntosh group. The area was Okmulgee/Muskogee. Samuel B Severs was one of the children. He was born 31 Aug 1854. I am interested in her parentage. Also, sometime there was an Indian woman who complained that FBS was not caring for her two children he had fathered. The complaint was recorded but I did not get the complaintant and it might have been this person or another. Many thanks Charles Severs
To all:- Personally, I have many relatives in United States, plus have had many ancestors and enjoy using the 1930 census records. The 1911 Canadian Census was released on June 28, 2005 after about eight years of struggle -- with the assistance of Americans. Many are now involved in transcribing the images either in the long format or my preference, Automated Genealogy. http://automatedgenealogy.com/census11/ For 1901 and the three-province 1906 http://automatedgenealogy.com/index.html Scanned Images of 1911 Census http://www.collectionscanada.ca/archivianet/1911/index-e.html Should you only wish to look, one does not need to sign in. Click on VIEW and hopefully that section might be transcribed. Should there be corrections needed, as you know them, let me know, as the proofreaders have yet to view the finished pages. One person asked if Americans were allowed to transcribe? YES -- but please sign the finished page -- do this by clicking on CLAIM PAGE after Line 50 is done. Believe it or not, all families in the TO line are part of my family. Muriel M. Bev, Maybe you might be able to point me in the right direction for my own search. My great-great grandmother, and her son - my great grandfather, both emigrated from Nova Scotia to the US from Nova Scotia in the latter part of 19th Century. She (a MacIntosh) was married to a John T. Tutty. But try as I may, I cannot seem to locate a Tutty-MacIntosh nexus anywhere in on-line databases. Can you help on this? Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/2N0.2ACIB/1369 Message Board Post: James, Maybe you or others can help me out. My recent post 10/21 on this board about Mcintosh in Maury/Robertson & Hickman Co. TN needs to be read for following to make any sense. A Jesse Mcintosh was on 1830 & 40 census of Knox County, KY. He was about about 1790 in VA or GA depending on which census to believe; his wife Jane was born in 1800 in VA. They had a son that married Emily Wyatt, a daughter of an unmarried woman named Mary Polly Wyatt of Knox County. (Emily and her husband moved to Kansas about 1860) When Mary Polly Wyatt died in the 1880's...she left land to the children of Aaron Mcintosh (of Mercer Co., Missouri). This Aaron is son of William Mcintosh of 1820 census in Maury Co., TN. I have tried to attach this line of William Mcintosh to any of the known VA or NC Mcintosh that have been posted about, but can not draw the connection. A book about the History of people in Ray County, Missouri shows that under the History of Thomas Mcintosh (another son of William) :his grandfather came to America from Scotland at an early day". Not sure what that means exactly but sounds like Williams father was born in Scotland and came to America where William was born about 1794 in either VA or NC, again depending on the census records. Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/2N0.2ACIB/1368 Message Board Post: 1820 TN census has a Nimrod Mcintosh in both Robertson and Hickman County TN. Robertson County Nimrod is age 45+ has two sons with him, a daughter and wife This I am sure is the Nimrod of Culpepper Co. Va and North Carolina. Hickman County Nimrod is age 26+, one son, and two women with him both 16 to 26, one I guess could be wife. Question: is the Nimrod in Hickman County any relation to the Mcintosh of Robertson County? The Nimrod in Robertson had a son named Nimrod that family researchers show up later on in Kentucky. I am trying to tie one of these Mcintosh either Nimrod or the other Mcintosh of Robertson County, to William Mcintosh of 1820 Maury Co., TN. He was 26, born about 1794 either VA or NC. Was on some records in Maury Co. as early as 1813 and lived in Maury County until about 1829 when he moved with wife and children to Sullivan County, Indiana. I have not be able to attach the William to the Hector Mcintosh descendents of Iredell, NC that settled in Maury Co. in the 1820's. Anyone got any ideas to help. Tom
