    1. Francis Fugate /Wm McIntosh
    2. Hi all, I am new to the list. I believe I descend from Peter McIntosh (b. 1760 or 1746 in Scotland) m. Margaret "Peggy" Turner, but am still trying to confirm. Any info appreciated on this line appreciated. My grandfather was Jeremiah "Jerry" McIntosh from Perry County , KY. As far as James Fugate McIntosh, I know there were a lot of Fugates in the Perry, Harlan and Breathitt Co, KY area. I have a William McIntosh m. to Francis Fugate and am just wondering if the "Fugate" for James could be a mother's maiden name? Don't have any of the children of this couple except a Henley McIntosh. Charlene Charlene, the Frances Fugate Wm McIntosh you mention are my 4th Great Granparents through their son Absalom 1812, Nimrod 1838,James1866,Sallybelle McIntosh Carmack 1887,Ralph Carmack 1923,Tony 1946. I have seen the hand written letter that was written by William F McIntosh, grandson of Jesse McIntosh.. It was written in 1900 in his own handwriting. And it states that Frank McIntosh was the father to Jesse McIntosh. There are 2 Jesse McIntoshs. One was the son to Frank McIntosh and the other Jesse was the son Nimrod McIntosh. We don't know if Jesse had any siblings or not.. And we don't know Jesse's mother's name either.. The first thing we have is Jesse's War of 1812 papers. We know that Jesse was in Estill Co about 1812. In the 1810 census we don't know where he was since he was to young to be head of household.. He went in the War of 1812 under a assumed name. As to why we don't know.. George Kassa died afew yrs ago.. Don't know if Weldon is still alive or not.

I am sorry but I do not have any information but I am searching for information about Cynthia and Tabithia and you helped me make a connection. According to family lore, Cynthia was married to a young man who was killed in the Civil War and Tabithia was a grandmother but I could not determine how. Before Cynthia married Peter Mcintosh, she had a son, Wilson Edgar Terry (March 6, 1874) by Isaac Terry and I am looking for information about him. Does he come up in any of your research? Wilson, who was also called Bill or Willie lived to be 94. He was my father in law. I certainly would appreciate any information you could furnish. Loretta Terry e-mail -Terry4526@aol.com

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/5538/2N0.2ACIB/1234.1.1.1 Message Board Post: Hi Marie Michael is my cousin on his dads side. His father was my mothers cousin. I have no idea of any photos etc, but typical that he hs promised them and nothing else. I found a marriage last night of Donald McIntosh to Caroline Louisa Soames in the Sept Qtr 1878 St Olave, which is in the London area. There doesn't seem to be a birth for Caroline that I can find so I guess it is possible that she was married before. Only a marriage certificate would probably clear that up a bit I guess. I tried to find a birth for Donald Snr but there were too many to chose from. I only wish I had a subscription to Ancestry. The only census I can access is the 1881 but It appears that they are not on this so I figure they are already in India by then. Donald Frederick is on the 1891 and 1901 Census for England. On a different note I see you are looking for Maguire. My husbands sister married a Thomas Patrick (Paddy) Maguire at Cobar! My direct email is robynpike@skyways.net.au

    1. McIntosh-Chisholm, Pictou Nova Scotia abt 1800
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/2N0.2ACIB/1372 Message Board Post: This is one of my major "missing links" Does anyone have any information on the following Duncan McIntosh & Mary Chisholm family from Nova Scotia? I have a 1920 RH Ward article for Pictou County Nova Scotia that says Ann McIntosh (born 1804) "was the dau of David McIntosh (and Christy Chisholm) of Sunny Brea", but it has been proven that David and Christy could not have been her parents as they married at a later date than Anne's birth in 1804. It has been suggested that she was the daughter of Mary Chisholm and Duncan McIntosh, but I am still looking for "proof" A Mary Chisholm, born in 1789, married a Duncan Macintosh with children, Charles, Duncan, Donald and Ann. It has been suggested that Mary Chisholm was only 14 when she married. That Duncan died young and Mary later married a Ronald McQuarry with no children. Duncan was the third son of Charles McIntosh and Isabel Ross. Charles McIntosh was born at Petty, INV in 1746 and Isobel Ross was from Fort George. This McIntosh family initially settled at Kings County before relocating to Sunny Brea, Pictou County Nova Scotia abt 1800 (to be amongst Gaelic speaking Scots again). Children of Charles MACINTOSH (13 Apr 1746 - ) & Isabell ROSS Duncan MACINTOSH & Mary CHISHOLM (1789 - )??? Donald MACINTOSH & Ann FALCONER Hugh MACINTOSH & Isabell CHISHOLM (1789 - ) Isobel MACINTOSH & Alasdair MACDONALD Mary MACINTOSH & James FRASER Margaret MACINTOSH & Donald CAMERON (1775 - 1839) Elizabeth MACINTOSH (1789 - 1876) & Roderick MACKAY (1785 - 19 Dec 1877) Mona Sally MACINTOSH (1811 - 1858) & Joseph MACKAY I am interested in finding out what happened to Duncan's daughter Anne. Could she have been raised by Duncan's brother, David of Sunny Brea?? On 24 Dec 1823, Anne McIntosh, East Branch East River marr. John McDonald, East Branch East River, Pictou County Nova Scotia Regards, Ben MacDonald Glendale AZ
