He has possibly died about 1855. He married Cassa McIntire on June 18, 1827 in Daviess County, Indiana. Cassa was born about 1810 in Ohio according to the 1850 census and died after the 1880 Daviess County census was taken. She was 72 years old in 1880. The only census I have located Abraham and Cassa in has been the 1840 and 1850 Greene County, Indiana. In 1850, they were living in Stafford Township, Greene County. Then, I located at Catherine Hedrick in Stafford Township in 1860. Some of the information contained in the 1850 and 1860 census records conflict with each other. The 1850 and 1860 census lists the following members in the household of Abraham Hedrick. 1850 Abraham, age 45, Farmer, Kentucky Catherine, age 55, Ohio John, age 15, Indiana Jacob, age 14, Indiana Angeline, age 12, Indiana Mary, age 9, Indiana Julia A., age 7, Indiana Linda, age 4, Indiana Abraham, age 4, Indiana Caroline, age 1/12, Indiana Emeline, age 1/12, Indiana 1860 Catherine, age 40, Ohio John, age 25, Indiana Jacob (Knox County-married) Mary, age 18, Indiana Frances, age 16, Indiana (possibly Julia A.) Andrew J., age 15, Indiana (possibly Abraham) Sousan, age 12, Indiana (could this be Linda?) Caroline, age 10, Indiana Emeline, age 10, Indiana William, age 6, Indiana >From what I can put together, Abraham and Cassa (Catherine) have had ten children: John Hedrick, Jacob Hedrick, Angeline Hedrick, Mary Hedrick, Julia A. Hedrick, twins Linda (Susan) and Abraham Hedrick, twins Caroline and Emeline Hedrick, and William Hedrick. John Hedrick was born in January of 1835, probably in Greene County, Indiana. He married Rebecca Padgett in Greene County on February 14, 1856. She was born in June of 1838 in Indiana. John is listed in the 1860 and 1870 Stockton Township, Greene County census. They had two children: William, born in 1857 and Sarah E., born in May of 1860. Jacob Hedrick was born about 1836. Jacob died between 1910 and 1920 in Washington Township, Daviess County, Indiana. Jacob married Rebecca about 1838 possibly in Knox County, Indiana. Rebecca was born about 1838 and also died between 1910 and 1920. They were enumerated in Vigo Township, Knox County in 1860, then in 1880 they were living in Washington Township in Daviess County. The 1880 census listing shows his mother, Catherine, age 72, living with them. They appear to have had six children: Abraham Hedrick (born about 1859), Sarah E. Hedrick (born October 1861), Jackson Hedrick (born about 1866), Samuel Hedrick (born January 1870), Mary Hedrick (born about 1875) and George Peter Hedrick (born in June 1879). Samuel and Sarah were living at the County Poor Farm in Washington Township in 1920. Angeline Hedrick was born about 1838. Mary Hedrick was born about 1841. Julia A. Hedrick was born about 1843. Linda (Susan) Hedrick was born about 1846, as was her twin brother, Abraham. Twins, Caroline and Emeline Hedrick were born in May of 1850. William Hedrick was born about 1854.
