This is of interest to me as my McIntyre's emigrated from Donegal (village of Montcharles, and also of Donegal town) in late 1800's, and my research indicates there were relatively few McIntyre's in Donegal. The family even ran a rather small "McIntyre Hotel" in Montcharles, the building still stands. Anyway, I'd be interested in seeing if there is some connection.
