Need parents of: (James) Garfield McIntire b. ca 1875-80 PA or OH, married Lydia Kisling had one son, Robert b. Jan 1902 in Mansfield, Richland Co., OH. They divorced no later than 1910. Lydia remarried to George Dinges and was his 2nd wife. Although no adoption records have been located, the 1910 census lists Robert as the adopted son of George. Garfield moved to the Los Angeles area and his will was entered 17 Dec 1934. He had lived for a few years with an Edna Van Houten who cared for him and he died at her home. The attorney's letter referenced him as James Garfield McIntyre and also referenced a Lawrence McIntyre, also of Mansfield Ohio, who we believe to be a brother. Lawrence was born in 1871 in PA.
