I am going to suggest that you search Lamar, Red River, Delta,Fannin and Hunt Counties in TX to start. There are also McIntire/McIntyre family members in the Panhandle of TX in Lubbock Co and quite a few in Arkansas. WHen ever they woudl mess up, they tended to cahnge the spelling of the last name. It has also appeared as McEntyre and McEntire in the SAME family in TX. In more extreme instances, I have seen it spelled "Mac" and all the other I and E variations. No other branch of my McIntire/McIntyre family would have bailed out on their own kid. Maybe I can help.
