He was born around 1750 in Virginia. Some say he was killed in Kentucky by indians lead by Tecumseh. Allen Eckert in his book"That Dark and Bloody River" tells a story accurate in time ,place etc., but says it was Alexander McIntire. William was the son-in-law of David Shepherd. Any help would be appreciated.
