Please, please include dates, even if you have to indicate that they are approximate, to help identify your ancestors. My gr gr grandmother was Eliza McIntire, b. 1813, in Ohio, who married Andrew J. Thompson, b. 1813, in Virginia. They were married in Springfield, Ohio, in 1833. I have a copy of their marriage certificate, but this is the only primary source of facts about them that I've been able to find, as yet. I'd very much like to learn the names of their parents. Eliza and Andrew had a large family, with children born in several different states. I don't know where they were living when they died so I can't even try to send for death certificates that might indicate the names of their parents. Family notes say that Andrew was in the stone and brick masonry trade with his 3 or 4 brothers, but I don't know the names of the brothers. I'd love to hear from anyone who might be able to help me with my search. ...Jan Fancypatch@aol.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > Subj:[McIntire] Re: McIntire/Virginia > Date:4/23/02 5:23:00 AM Pacific Daylight Time > From: Ababywuv@stratuswave.net > Sender: gc-gateway@rootsweb.com > To: MCINTIRE-L@rootsweb.com > > My McIntire ancestors are from Brooke Co. also.
