I am trying to connect John McIntire, the founder of Zanesville who is said to have been born in near old Alexandria and a Robert who lived in Brooke Co VA (1761-1837). I also have a reference from Isaac McIntire (Robert's g grandson) that the family farm was still in operation in 1902. Did your McIntires stay in that area for many generations?
