He married Emma Jane GREEN on April 15, 1861. They had 7 children: Effie Cora, Emma Viola, Albert Lincoln, Roselle Blanch, Mary Jessie, Josephine May and Florence Estella McIntire. He Joined the 14th Pa. Volunteer Cavalry on Feb. 29, 1861. He was an artist and photographer and Was discharged on May 30, 1865 and returned to Armstrong County. Our family bible, which contained details of our family linage, was destroyed in a fire many, many years ago. We are not sure who was his father and I am anxious to follow my roots back to Ireland and Scotland. Am in possesion of a letter dated Nov. 1, 1898 written by W.T. Smith (furniture dealer and Undertaker) of Willet, Pa., stating that he (W. T. Smith) was a cousin of John Stevens McIntire. I tried to reach him but the e-mail of : Robert McIntire bobnjimmee@specent.com is no longer valid. Does this query sound familiar to any researcher or does any one know this researcher? The W. T. Smith is my 3 great grandfathers brother - that he speaks of in the above query. Thanks in Advance! Pamela
