Jerry, Why don't you write the newspapers for that area and get a copy of the obits ? You can probably also find out what Historical society serves that area on the net. I have had this posted on familytreemaker for three years with virtually no results. I wonder if anyone out there has any ideas. Happy Easter. Jerry We are still researching the McIntire family from Pittsfield, Mass. Particularly, we are looking for descendents and ancestors of George Arthur McIntire, born August 27, 1871 in New Haven, CT. He may have died August 4, 1957 in East Haven or New Haven, CT. He was married to Susan Webster, June 30, 1897 in Pittsfield, MA. Two sons by that marriage were George Webster Mc Intire, born August 11,1898 and Lewis Webster Mc Intire, born July 12, 1900. I have all information on these sons. It is thought that George Arthur was married at least one more time after 1902. It is those descendents I am searching for. I'm searching for the names & dates of the parents of my great great grandmother, Eliza McIntire, who was born in 1813, in Ohio. She married Andrew J. Thompson (He was born in Virginia, in 1813.) in Ohio in 1833.
