Hannah's first husband John York died Oct 1838 at Haun's Mill in caldwell co., Mo. They were Morman Hannah was at their home a few miles from the mill with a son and a handicapped daughter --who later came to Illinois with her. The son dies in Pike Co in 1850 of cholera We find Hannah again in 1860 in Miami co., In in the home of her son John York --she is again a widow. Hannah was born 1785 in Randolph Co., Nc She would have been 57 when she married Jacob McIntire so probably no children from this union this was her second marriage and probably also for Jacob. I would love to compare notes with anyone who can place this Jacob McIntire in their files.
Descendants of John McIntire??? Generation No. 1 1. JOHN1 MCINTIRE??? Notes for JOHN MCINTIRE???: Though my research may be proven wrong, from what I can visably see on records, it appears John may be the father of Francis (male) per the following !. In the 1800 census of SC Francis is listed. Also listed in SC is Daniel whom I believe is a brother per everywhere the family of Francis/Hugh went, so did the family of DANIEL. Also listed are 2 Johns, therefore one must be a Sr. & therefore a possible father to the others listed. Others are THOMAS and WILLIAM. The h/h for Francis shows he is over 45 and wife to be around 45 with a Female and male possibly close to 26 and 3 children up to 10 yrs old. Therefore Frances born around 1755. 2. VA land grants have been given in KY for those who fought in the war and among one of the grants, John, Robert, Alexander, & Daniel jointly were granted a parcel of land in KY Single grants were given to Alexander 1783 & 1787, John 1784 & 1786 and Nicholas 1783 3. Tax payers of VA in first census are David, Daniel, James, John H, Nicholas, and Thomas. William McIntire is listed as a veteran son of Nicholas (of Sheperdstown) and was killed in Limestone KY. There is another William in graves of Am. Rev Soldiers as bn 1756 & died 1835 in Gallitan, KY which is close to Trimble where the families later lived. He was a private from VA. 4. Listed in Graves of Am. Rev. Soldiers is JOHN MCINTIRE born 1760 & died 1826 with burial at Jones Cemetary in Midland, Bath, Co., KY. Bath was a part of Clark Co,. KY where Francis was on census in 1810 and Hugh in Clark in 1820. Therefore per birthdate, John would have been a brother of Francis with the father the Sr. mentioned in #1. Therefore Robert and Alexander are probably brothers as well as they jointly owned the parcel described in #2. 5. Many late 1700 and early 1800 references to our McIntire line has them as MCENTIRE. JOHN McENTIRE was the first McIntire in KY on the 1791 tax list. Children of JOHN MCINTIRE??? are: 2. i. FRANCIS2 MCINTIRE, b. Abt. 1755; d. Bet. 1810 - 1820. 3. ii. DANIEL MCINTIRE, b. Bet. 1763 - 1773, VA. iii. JOHN MCINTIRE. Notes for JOHN MCINTIRE: Married 10-27-1790 a daughter of Robert Wiley in Augusta Co., VA per Chronicles of Scotch Irish Settlementey. I do not know if this is him... iv. ROBERT MCINTIRE. v. ALEXANDER MCINTIRE. Generation No. 2 2. FRANCIS2 MCINTIRE (JOHN1 MCINTIRE???) was born Abt. 1755, and died Bet. 1810 - 1820. Notes for FRANCIS MCINTIRE: Family history of one of the grandsons states he wa in war 7 yrs and injures 5 times in the Revolutionary war. More About FRANCIS MCINTIRE: Military: 1761, Co. Please, please include dates, even if you have to indicate that they are approximate, to help identify your ancestors. My gr gr grandmother was Eliza McIntire, b. 1813, in Ohio, who married Andrew J. Thompson, b. 1813, in Virginia. They were married in Springfield, Ohio, in 1833. I have a copy of their marriage certificate, but this is the only primary source of facts about them that I've been able to find, as yet. I'd very much like to learn the names of their parents. Eliza and Andrew had a large family, with children born in several different states. I don't know where they were living when they died so I can't even try to send for death certificates that might indicate the names of their parents. Family notes say that Andrew was in the stone and brick masonry trade with his 3 or 4 brothers, but I don't know the names of the brothers. I'd love to hear from anyone who might be able to help me with my search. ...Jan Fancypatch@aol.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > Subj:[McIntire] Re: McIntire/Virginia > Date:4/23/02 5:23:00 AM Pacific Daylight Time > From: Ababywuv@stratuswave.net > Sender: gc-gateway@rootsweb.com > To: MCINTIRE-L@rootsweb.com > > My McIntire ancestors are from Brooke Co. also.
