Believe they were in North Carolina. Had at least one daughter Susan Elizabeth Ellis born January 28, 1824 and married Jeremiah McGlohon on January 28, 1844. Susan died May 1, 1899 and is buried in the Sumerell-McLawhon Cemetery in North Carolina.
