Daniel L. McGlaun was born in 1851 and was one of the sons of David Gaskins McGlaun and Sarah E. John. He married Eva L. Bond in Cusetta. Daniel was the brother of Leah Ann McGlaun. Leah married William Mitchell Bond, also in Cusetta. William and Eva were the children of William M. D. Bond who was the preacher in and around Cusetta for a couple of years.
