Her parents were William "James" McFarland (possibly a minister) and Mary Ann Hopkins. Nancy Jane married my g-g-grandfather, William "Will" Henry Robbins (born about 1847 in Johnson County, IN). From limited info I have, it is possible that Nancy Jane had a sister by the name of Martha E. McFarland. This is all the info I have on my McFarland side of the family. Maybe there is a connection to my McFarland clan out there somewhere out there. Any info from any body regarding my McFarland family history would be much appreciated.
