Just wanting to compare notes here and see if there is any possible match on our Sarahs. My Sarah Elizabeth McFarland was married to a McFarland (whose name I do not currently know). They lived in PA. I don't know anything about being adopted although there is a strange play in my oral history of the name COOK somewhere in there that I have never understood. My Sarah Elizabeth McFarland's daughter Carolyn Josephine married Evan Watkins and both of them died leaving their 5 children orphaned. My Grandfather was 5 at the time of his parents death and Sarah Elizabeth McFarland raised all the children. This was all in or around Titusville, PA.
