McFarland to a Hallie. Whom I believe to be Harriett Murphy Booth, daughter of Thomas Marion Murphy. William is writing about family history, mentions his oldest son Daniel living in Columbus, son William who was in the Navy, 4 daughters Margaret , Marianna, Hope and Dorothy. He mentions that in 1897 he began working for the C&O RR at Newport News VA. >From my family records I have this William McFarland to be the son of Ruth Murphy and Dan McFarland. Does this sound familar to anyone? I am quite eager to make a conection because he mentions having pictures of older family members, and I am hoping that someone still has copies! Thanks!
