McFarland, 91, of Blueberry Lane died Monday at Lakes Region General Hospital. She was born in Coalport, Pa., the daughter of Alexander and Ellen (Osborn) Laing. Survivors include two sons, Edward McFarland of Laconia and Robert McFarland of North Haven, Conn.; a daughter, Joan Stone of Bartlett; a brother, Donald Melvin of West Haven, Conn.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Her husband, Edward McFarland sr., a brother, two sisters and two grandchildren died previoulsy. Calling hours will be held today from 4 to 7 p.m. at Curtis-Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 69 S. Main St., Branford, Conn. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in the family lot in St. Lawrence Cemetery in West Haven, Conn. In liue of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Community Health and Hospice Inc., 780 N. Main St., Laconia 03246. Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, Laconia, is in ch! arge of the arrangements.
