It is possible as we have not been able to trace a few of Wesley McFarland's sons, such as James Harrison., and Mathew Young. Also some of Wesley's brothers are unfound such as Levi Pritchit, Thomas Pritchit (may have been step-brothers) and Mathew. James C. McFarland had 19 sons and 9 daughters with 3 wives. The fourth wife does not have children listed for her and she may or may not be the same as Rebecca Rule (Ruil) his first wife.
