I am trying to fit the following people together in my family: George Kelly and Jane Field had daughter Mildred who married a James G. Leamon, James G. Leamon had a sister Harriett who married a John H. McFarland. George and Jane Kelly also had a daughter Harriett who married a Daniel Murphy. Harriett had a daughter Ruth Murphy who married a Dan McFarland. Rachel McFarland (daughter of John McFarland) married John Field, son of Captain Benjamin Field and Mildred Slaughter. All of these families lived in Ohio and Daviess County Kentucky in the 1800s. It is thought that the children of Ruth and Dan McFarland settled in Virginia.
