North married Emma Jane Geisalman and they migrated to Illinois. North was a captain in the Salvation Army. They setteled in Astoria, Ill. Their son Charles married Jennie Mentzerolf B: Aug 21, 1880 Groningen Holland. Their eldest daughter Helen is my grandmother. If you have anything on John and Lydia's parents I'd be delighted to have it. I have one great uncle still alive. He's 80 and interested in the family history.
