I, and several other descendants here in Oz, believed James married Margaret McElroy on 10th Feb 1846 in Kilmore, Armagh. We have now been advised by professional researcher in Ireland that is not our James. His death certificate shows he married 3 times. First wife is recorded as "unknown". He married (2) Rachel Trouton/Troughton 26/2/1853 in Mullavilly, Armagh, and after her death in Oz in Dec 1877 he married Susannah Armstrong on 6th Sept 1879 in West Maitland, NSW. James was born abt 1829 in Armagh- his parents Thomas McElroy and Annie McElroy nee McCalvery. James had a sister Elizabeth born abt 1832 in Tullamacain, Armagh who married a Robert Gilmore at Kilmore, Armagh on 2nd Feb 1854. Hope you can help us sort this out. Look forward to your reply.
