I am a descendant of Isaac Muckleroy (various spellings), son of Avington and Sarah Dawson Muckleroy. I'm sending information I just typed from a xerox of the document sworn to by Isaac that Sarah McKleroy was his mother. Just in case anyone is interested, but doesn't have a copy of it. Betty Stokes EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT GEORGIA Louisville 31 October 1805 Personally appeared Isaac McKleroy of the County of Oglethorpe, who, being duly sworn on the holy evangelist of Almighty God, saith that the name Sarah McKleroy which stands on the list returned by the Inferior Court of Oglethorpe County, of persons entitled to draw in the late land lottery, between the name of Isaac McKleroy, and the names of Archibald McKleroy, Absolom McKleroy, James McKleroy and Billy McKleroy is the name of his mother, and that he gave in the name of his mother and the names of his brothers, the above mentioned persons when he entered his own for draws in the aforesaid lottery.
