McElroy, My great grandfather was John W. McElroy (1831-1907) who was born on Atkinson Run, Monroe County, OH. Mellots were residing in that area at the time. When he moved to Wetzel County, WV, some Mellots moved as well. The lived in the area of Steels Run just east of Pine Grove WV.
