I think he was born in Ireland and came to Missouri. My paternal grandmother was Mary Ellen McElroy who married Leo or Leonard J. O'Brien, son of Captain John O'Brien m. to Jane Clifford. Mary Ellen and Leo lived in St.Louis,MO, perhaps after a short period in Newport, KY. Any info on these persons?
