McElroy born in 1827 in Missouri. He had one for sure known brother born in 1822 in Kentucky -- John W. Someone has listed another brother as G.W. McElroy but said probably born about 1814 in Kentucky. We don't know who their parents were. Do you know if your G.W. had any brothers? John W. and William W. came to Sabine County Texas from Missouri. I wonder if there is any connection. Your G.W. named one of his sons Conrad and my William W. names my great grandfather Conrad Walls. All these Williams, Samuels, Johns are not unique but Conrad kinda is. Would love to hear from you.
