There son John McElroy who married Martha Moore, their son William McElroy who married Elizabeth unknown, their son John McElroy born in 1797 in Mecklenberg, NC who married Miss Cry, Mary Ann Belk, Mary Stevenson daughter of Andrew Stevenson and granddaughter of John Stevenson and Mary? Ann Coulter, then he married Rachel McDuffie. John born 1797 had the following children: Mary McElroy King, William Belk McElroy, Darling Belk McElroy, Arminta McElroy Holt, John C, Andrew J., Elizabeth, Margaret, Martha, Ann, Robert, George, Isaac, James H., and Lycurgus the youngest who married Emily Nelson and then their eldest son William Gideon McElroy who married Leticia J. Kent and then their son CLarence A. who married Hazel Inez Stanaland and then their son my father, Beverly's husband and Ester's brother, Donald N. McElroy. I am interested in researching anyone in this line. Also looking to try and connect various McElroy lines.
