    3. I am working on the parents of Simon Bailey McKelroy b. 1818 Northeast Georgia (Oglethorpe, Franklin, Wilkes, Green. He married Catherine Bryant probably the daughter of Tillman Bryant (Franklin Co. GA). I believe Simon is the son William McKelroy and Mary Arnold. Possible sibling is Zacariah McKelroy d. in Lafayette Co. MS. Simon homesteaded in Cherokee Co. Ala 1840's. Moved to Calhoun Co. MS by 1860s. Later moved to Scott or Logan Co. Arkansas and died 1901. We have had many new people join our list. I think it is time to share our McElroy interest with other subscribers. Our Roll Calls are not like those on other lists though because we don't just throw out names. We ask that you provide as much information as you can. If the name is all that you can provide, at least give us a time frame in which your ancestor lived and the general area in which you believe he or she lived, was born, died, or was married. 3. I understand that this branch may spell their name differently; however, I cannot keep up with the many different spellings on my database so all not in my direct line are spelled the way I originally found it - Mackelroy. I connect to this line at Archibald, son of John and Frances through Archibald and Catherine's son, Avington. I would appreciate additions or corrections. Ahnentafel - Simon/Simeon B.
