I am working on the parents of Simon Bailey McKelroy b. 1818 Northeast Georgia (Oglethorpe, Franklin, Wilkes, Green. He married Catherine Bryant probably the daughter of Tillman Bryant (Franklin Co. GA). I believe Simon is the son William McKelroy and Mary Arnold. Possible sibling is Zacariah McKelroy d. in Lafayette Co. MS. Simon homesteaded in Cherokee Co. Ala 1840's. Moved to Calhoun Co. MS by 1860s. Later moved to Scott or Logan Co. Arkansas and died 1901.
