He signed a promisory Note on May 27, 1779 in Wake Co, NC. He died on October 8, 1794 in Wilkes Co., GA. He signed a will on October 8, 1794 in Oglethorpe Co., GA. He was also known as Indian Creek John. He was married to Mary in 1772 in Wake Co, NC. 3. Mary was born about 1751. She died in 1853 in GA. John MACKELROY III and Mary had the following children: 1 i. Jacob MACKELROY. ii. Priscilla MACKELROY was born about 1775. iii. Lewis MACKELROY was born in 1775 in North Carolina. He was born about 1778 in North Carolina. He died in 1869 in Georgia or Alabama. He died about 1869 in GA or AL. iv. Joseph MACKELROY was born in 1776. He was born in 1780 in GA. v.
