Does anyone know who this WATKINS MICHLEROY is? I know who Arnold Bruce is and Joel Sims. The Sims were related to the North Carolina and Georgia McElroys (various spelling) - mostly through William McLeroy. 1789, Wilkes Co., GA. Arnold Bruce and his wife, Celia, of Wake County, North Carolina, deed to Joel Sims of Wilkes County, GA 200 acres of land at 200 silver dollars, land lying on both sides of Michleroy Branch, waters of Julian Creek, joining land of WATKINS Michleroy and Joel Sims.
