Becky I am really curious as to if this is the same James McElroy that I am researching. The one I have also married a Ruth . I have him born between 1798-1799 and dying March 1883 in Twinnsburg Ohio. I also through research found a document where he sold land in Westmorland County Ohio in 1832 to a Andrew Haslet in Farifield Twp. PA Sure sounds similair does it not? Please let me know we could swap what information we have on this man.
