I'm working on Robert Greenwood McElroy, born in Ireland in 1837, immigrated to US about 1860. He lived in Hillborn and Suffern NY for many years, died 1902. I know his father was born in Scotland and his mother was born in England, but that is where the 'trail ends'..... has anyone researched any of the McElroys from the NY/NJ area???
