Lisa [G-Gfather] James Ellis McElroy (Ellis is thought to be a surname) He moved to Plainview, Tx in the early 1900's from Tennessee (possibly Lincoln?). I know that he had both brothers and sisters, but no names. His nickname was "Daddy Mac". He was married 2 or three times. He died around 1949 in Fort Worth, TX and is buried in Plainview Cemetery. 1st marriage: m. Julie (Julia) William (s) [her parents were both to have had a surname of William or Williams]. They had at least two children: William Arthur (my g-father) and Catherine. William Arthur McElroy d. Feb 1940 in Ft. Worth, TX b. around 1900 m. Vera Copeland They had three children: Glen Arthur, Jerry (f), Jimmie (f). They called him "Daddy Doc". They owned a farm in the Panhandle (around Lockney, Tx). Vera Copeland remarried after he died, to Aubrey Holt, who then continued with the farm. Catherine McElroy ?: I know she had children. 2nd marriage: unknown Children: Raphine McElroy Terrell (Terrill), Leona UNKNOWN (had a son Roger and lives (ed) in Irving TX?)
