I believe my McLeroy was related to Andrew J. McLeroy--McElroy--McKleroy in the 1850 to 1880 Stewart Co., Ga. census. He was living surrounded by Johnson's and Meadow's . I have found my Mc Leroy, McIlROY, McElroy as M.L. --M.C. and of course Mack. His wife was Martha E. Johnson. Her maiden name was Meadows. Have not found him past the 1900 Hill Co., Tx. census.
