Julie, I run across some of these and most of the time I don't have time to do the follow up research. The names Alex does not ring a bell as being related. However, we don't know what went on before John in Georgia. (born April 1807 & died 1876 in Miss.) I've been looking for a death and birth cert for him, but always come up empty. One of these days, I'll hit paydirt on him. I suspect his parents moved to Georgia from some other state. What are you doing up so late?
