While helping my father clean out his house, I found this obit on my Great-grandmother, Elizabeth "Betty" McCune Cleeton. Death date is January 4, 1950. This is Randolph County & Boone County, Missouri. OBIT: MRS. CLEETON, 72, DIES; FUNERAL AT PERCHE CHURCH Mrs. Elizabeth Cleeton, 72, died at 12:30 o'clock this morning at her home southwest of Moberly. She had been ill the past two months. Mrs. Cleeton, born south of Higbee, lived in Moberly 30 years and the past ten years southwest of Moberly. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Jasper Willis, Moberly; four sons, Roy, Grover, John and George Cleeton, all of Moberly; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Vadie Pemberton, Fayette; a half-sister, Mrs. B. W. Lockhart, Moberly; and two half-brothers, Josh Lynch, Moberly, and John Lynch, Morrilton, Ark. The body will remain at the Snow Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at Perche Church by the Rev. Gordon Whiteside, pastor of the Immanuel Baptist Church. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
