    3. Some of you may not be aware of one of the great services out there on the internet. I know I wasn't until recently. When you check with Amazon.com or Barnes and Nobel.com to see if they have a book listed for sale or can locate an out of print book for you, they go to places like those listed below, order them from the booksellers on these sites, then charge you what they have to pay to buy the book and have it mailed to them, plus their own cut - so-o-o-o, you can cut out the middle man and save yourself some money. Most of these sites allow you to list a book you want free of charge and they will notify you when they can match it up with a book someone has to sell. It may take a while, but eventually, nearly everything shows up on the web (as we all know). Anyway, if you're looking for a book, try checking these sites (listed in order of my preference in dealing with them): abebooks.com (the only 5 star site for this sort of thing) bibliofind.com alibris.com bookfinder.com There are lots of others, but these are the most popular.
