    3. You have lots of the same first names in your line but don't think they are connected in any way. My McCormic and McCormick's are from Morris and Essex Co. that I can trace back to 1828 when Hiram George Mc married Ginnette Munroe (both born NY) in Morris Co. NJ. First son William Henry had a daughter Sarah. Answering this because of the name in our line Bernard who we think is the father of Hiram who was born in 1804. We have two Bernard's in Essex time in the time frame of 1750 to 1860. One Bernard married into Sanford family of this area.     3. Thank you for your reply. Bernard was born in MD - probably across the Potomac from Loudoun County. And from his age in the 1850 census, both he and his wife (Isabella Vanander - VA) were born about 1795.
