My McCormick's have their origins in Ireland then to Pennsylvania and Virginia, ending up in West Tennessee and into Texas. My GGGgrandfather, John was born in 1823 in Tennessee, married Sophia CULVER in 1843 in Maury Co., Tennessee. They moved to Decatur County and were there in the 1850 Census, and in Henderson County in the 1870 Census. Sophia died before 1880, and John in 1884. Their children all moved to Henry County, Tennessee where their descendants still live today.
