Millard Frost Campbell was my Grandmother's brother. Neva and Millard died before I was born, but my older brother knew both of them and visited them often in Downey, CA in the late 1940s. I have been searching for John Thomas McCormick's parents for years and have found nothing, but I do have some of the McCormick's on down from John Thomas and Ella Bailey if you're interested. John Thomas McCormick died before 1930. Ella Bailey-McCormick is widowed in the 1930 Detroit, Wayne Co., Michigan census, where she's living with her son, Harold. In the 1880 Maury County, TN census, there's a family of McCORMICK's. The father's name is totally unreadable, but he is 26 years old (born about 1854, TN). Wife is MARY, age 25 (born about 1855, TN). There's a MATILDA McCORMICK living with them, age 52, (born about 1828, TN). Matilda is probably John Thomas McCormick's Grandmother. John McCormick is age 10, (born about 1869, TN). Not too sure if this is the right McCormick family, but it's awfully close....too close! Pleasant, Maury Co., TN, and died Nov. 8, 1959, Los Angeles, CA, Buried Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, Los Angeles Co., CA. I have a picture of her headstone and a copy of their marriage license. Both of them are buried about 200 feet from my mother and father. I met with Neva's son, John Robert Campbell, last year at the above-mentioned cemetery. He is 81 years old now.)
