Have you tried searching the 1851 Census of Canada? This would be fairly time-consuming, since it isn't indexed yet. You can view it at: http://www.collectionscanada.ca/archivianet/1851/index-e.html Alternatively, there is the Upper Canada and Canada West Naturalization Records at: http://www.collectionscanada.ca/archivianet/naturalization/index-e.html There is also the Upper and Lower Canada Marriage Bonds at: http://www.collectionscanada.ca/genealogy/012/index-e.html You could also try the Dictionary of Canadian Biography online at: http://www.biographi.ca/EN/index.html Finally, there are the online city and provincial/area directories at: http://www.collectionscanada.ca/canadiandirectories/022009-100.01-e.php ----- Original Message ----- From: Jane Sawyer <jpsawyer40@bellsouth.net> Date: Sunday, September 24, 2006 9:23 pm Subject: Re: McCormick - S.
