Ann RANKIN of Uniontown, Fayette, PA in 1815 and moved same year to Belmont Co. OH, where Alexander died in 1865. No siblings known. Their son, William married Nancy Mary THOMPSON in 1850, Belmont Co. OH (dtr of John W THOMPSON and Sarah FRAME McWILLIAMS of Fayette Co PA)
Several McCormicks from Maryland make their home in 1870 in Wyandot Co. Ohio (Upper Sandusky). My McCormicks moved from Wyandot Co to Jackson Co in about 1855 though my gg-grandfather, Louis Hezekiah McCormick, lived with his maternal grandparents in Wyandot Co in 1860 (Reuben and Jane Savidge). You might find some information by tracing some of those lines. For instance, there is an Alexander in the family of James and Barbara McCormick who make their home in Wyandot Co., Crane Twp in 1860.
