The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with the Rev. David Mackens and the Rev. James Green officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service Friday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born Sept. 5, 1925, in Montgomery County, son of Locker Askew McCormick Sr. and Pauline Evans McCormick. He was retired from the City of Clarksville Gas and Water Department and was a member of Hickory Point United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Bea Tinsley McCormick; two sons, Charles W. McCormick and Donnie McCormick; a sister, Vera Blanton, all of Clarksville; a brother, J.W. McCormick, Nashville; two grandchildren, Charles Ray McCormick, Ashland City, and Nancy Lynn Ziezer, Clarksville. Pallbearers will be Joe Tinsley, Alec Tinsley, Gary Conatser, Randy Tinsley, Rick Newman, James Green, Joseph Houle and Kenny Conatser.
