I figured that fits with their son named Owen. Anyhow, there is a message on the White House Farm's web site, in the older guest book section, linking Owen T McCormick and Richard McCormick. It goes farther in both directions: "Please leave your name here :   Jeff McCormick "and your email address here :   mc@ravenson.com "Your connection to White House Farm? :   My Father Jeremiahs Father was O.T. McCormick. His Father was Owen Thomas McCormick 2... His Father was Owen Thomas McCormick whose Father was Richard McCormick whose Father was John son of Dr John McCormick." If you have not seen the White House Farm's web site you are in for a real treat. White House Farm was Dr. John McCormick's home, it is still standing, and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
