FM, There is a John McConnell, who is my ggg grandfather, that was born in 1799 we believe in Ireland. He had a daughter named Mary Anne McConnell who married a John Murrey. I do not know if I am spelling the Murrey name correctly. Just wondering if perhaps there would be a connection. John McConnell died in 1882 in Streetsville, Ontario.
