HOWARD B. McCONNELL Mrs. Howard M. McConnell died Friday evening at 6:45 o'clock after an extended illness at her residence, 13 Round street. The former Miss Jennie Marshall, a daughter of the late James and Barbara Cook Marshall, was born in England. She was a member of the Wesley Methodist church. Survivors include her husband, Howard B. McConnell; a son, Clarence L. McConnell, New Castle; four sisters, Mrs. Thomas A. Baird, Mahoningtonwn, R.D. 8; Mrs. Charles R. Gardner, New Castle, R. D. 5, Mrs. D. T. Andrews, and Mrs. Albert Perkins, both of New Castle, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the R. L. Boyd funeral home, North Jefferson street, with Rev. Paul Aley, pastor of Wesley Methodist church, officiating. Interment will take place in Oak Park cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 7 to 9 o'clock as well as Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 o'clock and that evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.
